Objectives

Develop an in-situ technique to directly verify the integrity of seals for boreholes. These seals must effectively prevent contamination, commingling, or loss of groundwater. Ultrasonic techniques will be evaluated under field and laboratory experimental conditions.

Comments

COMPLETED. Report has been issued detailing that the method being studied failed to perform as well as hoped. Therefore it is not being recommended for state use.
