Study Description
Objectives
To research, design, build, instrument, and test two bridges constructed almost entirely of high performance concrete.
Comments
Construction has been completed on the San Angelo Bridge in Texas; final summary reports are under review. The Georgia HPC bridge is under design, and the project has been delayed because of an environmental lawsuit. Georgia research reports on prestressing strand development length, and on HPC mixes and properties have been published.
