Objectives
To provide (1) software improvements, (2) additional validation, and (3) training for the FHWA TNM (FHWA's new-generation highway traffic noise prediction model). The training may include FHWA's Highway Noise Barrier Design package, which was released in August 2000. (updated 5/9/01)
Comments
Study is still active. State partners are being solicited for support and participation. Software and validation work begun by FHWA; solicitation for pooled-fund participation is underway. (Updated 02/02/02)
