Study Description
Objectives
The Latin American Trade and Transportation Study (LATTS 1) has concluded with a detailed investment strategy with numerous elements. LATTS II covers the implementation and monitoring in relation to the LATTS 1 study. The implementation will be facilitated through five major areas: 1) supplementing the LATTS I database to facilitate implementation; 2) developing improved tools for communicating the recommendations of LATTS 1; 3) monitoring specific implementation recommendations of LATTS 1; 4) monitoring the results of implementation; 5) developing hybrid subproducts involving supplementing data, developing communication tools, and monitoring.
Comments
Technical work on this study has not yet commenced although a statement of work is being written. Still awaiting commitment of funds. 2/14/02
