Objectives

To continue funding evaluations by the Highway Innovative Technology Evaluation Center (HITEC), an independent, not-for-profit organization created to provide a process for the impartial evaluation of new products, materials, equipment, and services for which industry standards do not exist. To begin this new study, HITEC proposes evaluations of 1) low temperature concrete admixtures and 2) acoustic monitoring demonstrations. More evaluations may be added to this study as states request them.
