Objectives

Conduct a laboratory study to determine optimum edge conditions for precast culvert inlets; hydraulic design coefficients for multiple barrel box culverts; and derive polynomial equations and prepare design nomographs fo SD culverts to facilitate inclusion in FHWA's HY-8 computer program.

Comments

We are revising the final report based on comments from the SD Technical Review Committee. A Public Roads article was submitted based on study results.
